WHAT I WORE: EAST AFRICA FASHION WEEK 2017

Hello and happy New month  from me, my bum and tummy,

I’m so excited about this month for two main reasons: It’s my birthday month(23rd Sep) and coz I’m a month away from finishing my Bachelor’s Degree. It’s both exhilarating and scary af. Either way, I’m really grateful to the Almighty for the chance to be here.

When I received an email from East Africa Fashion Week asking me to attend their press conference a few days to the main event I got a little panicky. Mostly because I did not know what to wear and trust me as a fashion blogger this is really a big deal. Fast forward to the 8th of July, I wore this Ankara two piece which was designed by Achy, this girl can really do everything. The length of the skirt was just perfect because I didn’t have to bother/worry about what shoes to wear.

The event which brings together top fashion designers from countries in East Africa was a huge success. They showcased beautiful fashion forward pieces which a couple of people purchased off the runway. Kudos to the team that organized the show. Definitely looking forward to a bigger event next year.
